Hi all,

Please note what this week has in stall for us.

We will be making our Science experiments this week.  Can you please make sure the children have all their gear for this.  See my last post for items required.

We have our assembly this week, it will be held in the hall on Wednesday from 2:10pm. We hope to see you there.

Here is our homework for the week.

Tasks:

ü Daily reading (15 minutes) recorded in the back of your book

ü Daily spelling (tasks below)

ü Daily number facts practice (have a parent/sibling quiz you or use a game or app)

Spelling: Unit 7

                   

Spelling tasks:   

MONDAY Write out your spelling words in your neatest handwriting using entries and exits, or joined letters.	TUESDAY Write out your spelling words in alphabetical order.
WEDNESDAY Write out all spelling words and colour the sound in each word. For example: chicken sister finish	THURSDAY Change these words to past tense: eat – hunt - ride – draw –

Number facts focus: 5 x

Write out (once each night) and learn (each night) the 5 times tables. Get someone to test you. You need to know them within 5 seconds. If you already know the 5x, 2x and 10x tables, move on to one that you do not know yet.
