Spelling tasks:   

MONDAY Write out your spelling words in your neatest handwriting using entries and exits, or joined letters.	TUESDAY Write out your spelling words in alphabetical order.
WEDNESDAY Say each of your spelling words slowly but naturally to find the number of sounds in each word. Use tally marks to record the number of phonemes (sounds) in each word. Write out (each night) and learn (each night) the 5 times tables. Get someone to test you. You need to know them within 5 seconds.
